Since its inception in 1992, SMART has reached 144,000 children with vital one-on-one reading support, mentorship and books to take home and keep. We’ve accomplished this thanks to 100,000 incredible volunteers, dedicated to ensuring our children are prepared for the educational and life challenges ahead.
