Klamath County

The SMART South Central Area team implements SMART and raises funds to support SMART in the Klamath Basin. In 2017-2018, we served 686 PreK through third-grade children with the help of 324 local volunteers. We are focused on recruiting more volunteers and establishing strong financial support among our communities to ensure we can continue this important work of empowering local children through reading.

The South Central SMART team is lucky to have an incredible group of local high school students dedicated to raising friends and funds for SMART. The SMART Youth Advisory Board actively supports SMART by volunteering as Readers and Site Coordinators, hosting and supporting events, calling local supporters, helping with mailings and so much more.
